H.C.F From Easyway

Highest Common Factor(H.C.F):-  The H.C.F of two or more than two number is the greatest that divides each of them exactly.

Easy way:-

Step 1:          First find the difference of given two least no .

                    now either that difference if H.C.F or its factor  is H.C.F.

step 2:        factorize that difference.

step 3:        divide given each number with those factors.

Step 4:        multiply those factor who divide all given number.

Example-Find the H.C.F of 1365,1560 and 1755 .

      

Step 1:-   difference= 1560-  1365

                                 =195

                  now either 195 is the H.C.F or its factors.

            195=3*5*13

            now we know 

            3 divides given all numbers                     from        (divisibility rule)

            5 also divides given all numbers               from          (divisibility rule)

            13 also divides given all numbers              from           (divisibility rule)

            now multiply those factor who divide all given number here all three factor divides then

            the H.C.F is 3*5*13=195.
